Effect of Cow Dung Dose and Sowing Density on the Agronomic Performance of a Cotton Variety (Gossypium hirsutum l.) Grown in the Bere Region in the North-West of Côte d'Ivoire

The present study aims to determine the optimal dose of ox dung and sowing density that optimize yield seed cotton in region BERE North-West Côte d'Ivoire. Six fertilizer doses (T0, T1, T2, T3, T4 T5) were tested. Among these six doses, T3 are composed a mixture NPK mineral fertilizer, T0 is T5 only cattle dung. These tested on plants through 4 seeding densities : low (LowD 50 cm x 80 with 2 plant.pocket-1, either 50000 Plant.ha-1), medium 1 (Me D1: 40 62500 D2 20 Plant.ha-1) high (Hi D 30 83500 Plant.ha-1). Observations focused agronomic parameters. All organo-mineral treatments more productive than simple beef treatment. T2 treatment (2000 kg.ha-1 cow + 100 NPK) made it possible observe highest values ​​of number capsules per plant (14.37 capsules), cottonseed mass (57.02 g) (3636.23 kg.ha-1). In terms density, sown under 30cm 80cm, or 83,500 gave higher (3950.68 reached its optimum (4434.77 kg.ha-1) when they at (83500 treated NPK).
